How desperate I was to take a test online to know if I'm dyslexic..! Clicking the answers was becoming a great task as I could already sense the result. I felt as if I was weighing tonnes over my head. Though I don't show any reversals in numbers and alphabets, omissions or substitutions etc, yet spellings have always been a great task for me. I still use Microsoft word for spellings. I lack confidence while writing. Language is always a problem. I'm losing confidence. Gaining knowledge about something is becoming sin. Something's telling me that I'm dyslexic since the time when I attended the workshop on Dyslexia. After I finished answering all the questions I couldn't click on 'proceed for result" for this online test am talking about. Extremely tensed. I know it's too late, time can't be brought back, nothing can be done and I've been overcoming difficulties in studies since childhood, yet I wanna know the result even if am already 23. Finally I took a deep breathe and dared to click enter. The page took few years (seconds) to open and I felt not just my students, even the network is trying to test my patience. My eyes larger, mouth open, hand on the heart; set aback I was to see that I'm moderately dyslexic. Tremors all around, I felt as if I was in vertigo city..reeling sensation. I was falling into the infinite space, losing stability and confidence, no grip, dry throat, helpless and becoming sapless. Oh gosh! Why me? I started cursing myself why should I know about it. Better late than never I now know my problem. But then I suffered depression that night and next day. Hell upon............!!! What am I gonna do now?? Work better. My students all aged between 8 and 16 inspired me. What they must be undergoing? When at such age they're learning to overcome, at this age I need to be bold and stand high to inspire them back. When I told my student that I’m also dyslexic, this lovely little big boy told me "hearty welcome to dyslexia association". Aaah..He made my life. I'm no alone. I'll work, I'll sweat, I'll achieve, I'll stand forever, even if I fall everytime.

being dyslexic is no sin and not a bad thing! most of the people are dyslexic to various things. so take a chill pill and relax. you are no alien in this highly dyslexic world.
hey swats i feel proud of having dyslexia. no need of having chill pills. anyways thanx for the concern
Good that you are proud of and relaxed. This should be attitude towards life. Some people just panic. You are different and that is good.
