close to my heart

close to my heart are few songs/albums/tracks. they soothe me like a balm for the pain, like a ray of light in dark, like a cool breeze on my forehead....i listen to these songs repeatedly without getting bored. it becomes some kind of meditation...

close to my heart are few ppl....(names not to be mentioned), they are attachments..like that of an umbilical cord, like a bon fire in the winter, rain drops on a crying face, wedding ring,.....i talk to them, listen to them, see them, sit quietly with them...they are my possessions n are my properties.

close to my heart are few clothes...they have some sentimental, sweet and emotional attachment. wearing them makes me feel like having thick skin, feel stronger, makes me feel closer to ppl i miss,
at times i wear few clothes repeatedly n unintentionally causing boredom to ppl

close to my heart are few movies...i watch them to see myself in some characters, to see my ppl in some other characters...it gives me fun and relief.

close to my heart are some objects. i keep them very close to me. they are reminders of friends, hard work, morals, hope etc..they are non living but they give me life everyday.

close to my heart are many feelings...they keep me up n down frequently, and very rarely stable..however they are..they define me in various ways. they are the key for success and/ or failure..not just for me but for many.

close to my heart are many moral stories told by my mum, that have reflected practically in my professional life and made me a successful person.

close to my heart are many posts in this blog....they are so nostalgic.
signing off for now....

When you go when you leave

Then you take a little piece of me with you
There's a hole in my soul
Cause you take a little piece of me with you (x2)

Haan Naino ke dwaare aane ke waade baandhe

Aise bolo kaaahe
Chokhat pe dil ki aahat rakhi hai taako pe hai torey saaye

Unn binn unhe manaye

Unn bin kabhi jo unko rijhaaye
Unn bin chhale hai mora ye jiya

Bahe naina Bhare morey Naina

Jhare morey naina
Mohe naina sune naahi kehna, bahe morey naina

Bahe naina Bhare morey Naina

Jhare morey naina
Mohe naina sune naahi kehna, bahe morey naina

Haan

Komal badi hai saansan ki dori
Roothe se bhi toot jaaye
Baawan tarah se jee ko manaaya
Khoje ajaunh tori raahe

Unn bin unhe main paaun

Unn bin unhe main garwa lagaaun
Unn bin unhe mora jee lage haay...

Bahe naina Bhare morey Naina

Jhare morey naina
Mohe naina sune naahi kehna, bahe morey naina

aunty ji aunty ji

wot happened to men? werever i go i'm listening stories about men spreading rumors and gossips. wen i sit with my frns for a gossip... i understand that men r getting in to gossips n eventually into troubles n getting labeled as 'aunty ji'. i used to hear abt few boys whom were like aunty's wen i was in school. i saw aunty boys wen i was in college. wen i was doing pg we had gals n aunty boys n no boys/ men. after college n during work..i have stopped listening about aunty boys...coz i was fed up to see n hear all around.
i got a gap for an year. it was in last year jan wen i got a shock that realized me ki bangalore is no exception for aunty boys. most of the men n boys are now aunties. very few are left out as men n boys as it is without a tagline.
it is very hard to find a man who doesn't gossip.
how to identify them non-aunty boys/ men....i can hint you...
1) they will be engrossed in work even on the weekends.
2) poor socialization n no time n no intrst for socialization.
3) men/boys who appear as jerks or nerds but or not actually so
4) who try to stop women/ girls from talking abt others
5) who try to divert the topic wen a girl tries to talk abt some1...
6) a person who never tries to express in words, his respect for women..
etc
watchout....i also gotcha identify aunty boys...
signs n symptoms can be...
1) sympathizes less n asks for more details n insists on giving specifying the details..wen something goes wrong with you n others..
2) always found on social networking sites n talk only about info that they get on those sites wen they meet you personally.
3) men who go to beauty saloons..get facials etc done...
4) men who wear gold jewellery...
5) men who have more than 3 good/best friends who are girls.
6) men who express in words  show over respect n formalities for women.
7) men who show intrst n patience in selecting items/clothes for them n for their girl/lady(/ies) :P.
8) men who seek sympathy n sulk for justice or sympathy itself.
9) who won't stop u from talking abt others
10) men who assume stories n tell the same about you to another girl...inspite of knowing that that girl n u r gossip frns/ u hae common frns.
11) weird cases: chupa rustums..in fb/gtalk/ blog. who comment anonymously etc
12) call u repeatedly to tell u abt some gal or boy till u answer n listen to it.
etc
warning: aunty boys are becoming a plague, they are increasing in alarming number..
 how to prevent?!
medicine is right in front of them say the following mantra n disappear...
'aunty ji aunty ji'
beware  n be prepared

'definations' are causing me 'irretation'

yeah u read it right..i wrote it wrong...

keep aside my students who have difficulty in fine tuning the speech sounds and other perceptual disorders...i'm sooooooo irritated n getting pissed off to see adults write 'definAtions'..!!!!
isn't it so annoying to see especially the techies and tech savvy ppl who can have spell checks right at hands... write 'a for i ' in the word definItion???  or is it that they so love the nation that dey write definition as definAtion.phew!!!!

for god sake those who don't know the spelling read it like this... finite---> definite---> definition.

other spelling is 'tomarow/tommaro/tommarrow'...............aargh!!!
read n learn it this way.. tom + or + row = tomorrow.

table is read as table.. but the table in comfortable is not read as comfor+table...pls.
it is comfort+able (a sounds like the first letter of hindi/telugu swar 'a' n not the a of english alphabet.) to understand English language rules ..it takes a lifetime..but to understand the simple rules it harly takes few minutes.

a loud scream, not a dream;
spinning head, tumbling bed;
there's no light, time to fight;
make a call, or may fall;
this transition, is depression;
what to do, where to go;
whom to tell, going thru hell,
am going thru hell, am going thru hell;
it's not yell, but a spell;

zombie zombie zombie...
hey hey hey...

Hogenakkal

hmmmmm...
i missed u guys and my blog for quite some (in fact long) time. i was thinking of blogging over the weekends..but the weekends seem to b more hectic n busy than weekdays. well ther is nothing productive/ exciting that i've done for the past many disappointing weekends.
but last weekend..wasn't so. thanks to my best frn sugee and her sis. they've come all the way from hyd to blr for getting an admission into some dental college. but it turned out out to be a very fantastic trip for them and an awesome sunday for me. they have come to blr on saturday....and stayed at their uncles place. and hence saturday accounts for yet anothey unexciting rather a more disappointing day. but by late evening she (sugee) turned up at my place and sans and sugee startd having rocking time together like earlier. we had partied that eveng and on sunday morning woke up early just to make it even more exciting than previous eveng. we had several choices before to us to choose among the places to visit in-and-around blr. we just opted for the first option on the list without even looking at the other options. we just googled abt the place and thanks to google images for we have taken decision immediately and called up for a cab. within halfan hours time we got ready and caught up with sugee's sis and her uncle.
We were heading to HOGENAKKAL FALLS (click on it or this to know more about it) through the highway. throughout the drive, we were awestruck and were admiring the roads. they were just awesome and the cab driver hit the speed 100kmph at times. the colourful flowers n the plants grown on the road dividers were the best part. it was a feast for the eyes. as we entered tamilnadu the climate reminded us that summer is still on in TN. though we had to drive an extra 1hr than we thought of, we dint regret. it was great. we reach hogenakkal to receive a  shock just by seeing the unexpected crowd.
as we entered inside, the sailors over there panicked us. We thought it was a money making trick/ business idea. so refused them n went ahead upon deciding to walk till the water falls. hehehee....to our surprise we came to know that everyone has to take the boats /coracle to reach the waterfalls..at any cost. we dint know whether the prices quoted by the sailors was fair enough or not. we saw ppl around us with same confused faces. we had to decide quickly as sugee n her sis had to catch the bus to hyd by eveng. so we thought of paying the amount demanded and we had no scope to bargain as the crowd was increasing and were lil afraid that if we will b left with no coracles.
It was so thrilling and all exciting, as all of us were sailing for the first time in a coracle. the sailor, at times made the coracle go round and round (just like merry-go-round) adding to our excitement n amusement. the sailor was with us throughout the trip and we had to get down the coracle on n off and cross /climb few hills or plateaus by foot under his able guidance :P ...so he was a guide too. though the rock climbing (after seeing tamilnadu falls we'll have to sail n climb again to see karnataka falls) part was challenging, since the rocks were slippery due to the moist and water all over, we enjoyed it thoroughly.
i felt as if this particular place hogenakkal is one of the god's finest miracles. i tell u y 'coz  on one side the water falls appeared as pure milk..i mean deep white in colour and on the other hand wer this water stood still the same water was crystal clear. also on one hand the water at the falls was making hell lot of sound...the same water when remained still was so calm n deafening silent. wonder how n y?!
what annoyedme was the breath of the sailor...stench of cheap liquor! when enquired it is learnt that all sailors drink to gain energy n stay focussed which was quite contradicting my half knowledge. :P. but he was well-behaved n decent enough. we clicked his pic n promised him to catch him up if if we revisit the place.
well another fantastic moment was when i refused to get down the coracle which was deliberately halted for water play. i was asked to get down atleast for the sake of a click n since it was shallow..i dared to get down. but innocent n poor me...my frns started attacking me n each other with water. the fun was to the core and a truly fantastic feeling. i got drenched completely coz of that n had no clue how i was going to go back home all the way 180km, with those drenched clothes on, n to add to my fear n worry it was getting dark and we had to travel towards blr which means temperature decreases drastically as we near blr. however, others who came prepared for this water play/bath carried extra clothes which were carried back home as it is, as there was no proper place to change. :( poor them.
there was a crocodile park too which we couldnt see as we had to rush back to blr for sugee n her sis had to catch the bus late eveng.
we had our lunner (lunch + dinner) masala dosa at 6:30 pm on our way back home. it was such a good place to visit that we felt bad to leaave it so early n quickly. however i'd revisit this particular place with a proper plan. this is a must watch place for evryone.

i dunno y but on my way back home i felt that there should be some changes made to the popular quote 'we reap what we sow'. i feel 'we definitely reap what we sow' , 'at time we reap something extra for what we deliberately sow' and 'at times we reap what others sow', 'at times others reap what we sow'....all these are purely luck n context dependent.

cya all in the next post.
